Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Choreography for Sondheim and Wheeler’s dark musical masterpiece, working with director Tug Watson at UNCG. The production ran October 3–5, 2025 in the UNCG Auditorium, featuring intricate staging that supported the complex narrative.

The choreography required careful integration with the musical’s dramatic arc, creating movement that enhanced the storytelling while maintaining the production’s dark, atmospheric tone.

Side Show

Choreography for Russell and Krieger’s Side Show, directed by Tug Watson at UNCG. The production ran April 10–12, 2025 in the UNCG Auditorium, exploring themes of identity, acceptance, and the human experience through movement.

The choreography emphasized the emotional journey of the characters, using movement to convey the complex relationships and personal struggles central to the musical’s narrative.

Alphabet City Cycle

Choreography for Georgia Stitt and Marcy Heisler’s Alphabet City Cycle, created in collaboration with vocalist Crystal Kachevas: four quartets, staged as movement scenes that accompanied her Doctor of Musical Arts Final Recital in UNCG’s Tew Recital Hall on March 22, 2026.

Running twenty minutes in total, the movement scenes were built to live alongside the song cycle, giving the dancers a presence within a vocal recital while keeping the singer and the text at the center of the room.

Trio, 7.5 min · Fall Graduate Choreography Showcase, Coleman Theatre · October 2025

Touch Grass

A trio running seven and a half minutes, exploring themes of connection to nature and grounding. Developed as part of my MFA studies at UNCG and presented in the Fall Graduate Choreography Showcase at Coleman Theatre in October 2025, the piece investigates the relationship between human movement and natural environments.

The work uses organic movement vocabulary to create a sense of fluidity and connection, inviting audiences to consider their own relationship with the natural world.

Sextet, 7 min · Spring Graduate Choreography Showcase, Coleman Theatre · March 2025

Elemental

A sextet running seven minutes, exploring the four classical elements through movement. Presented in the Spring Graduate Choreography Showcase at Coleman Theatre in March 2025, this graduate work investigates how different elemental qualities can be expressed through dance, creating a dynamic and visually compelling performance.

The piece transitions between sections representing earth, air, fire, and water, using movement quality, spatial relationships, and group dynamics to evoke each element’s unique characteristics.
