The Artist
As an educator and artist, I am dedicated to identifying and expanding students’ gifts and skillsets within their dance practice and beyond, helping them lay a foundation for long careers on stage, in the studio, and as cultural contributors among their communities.
Currently, I serve as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where I teach Ballet for Musical Theatre, Jazz for Musical Theatre, Dance 101, and Mat Pilates. I am pursuing my MFA in Dance Choreography with a projected graduation in May 2027, maintaining a 4.0 GPA.
My professional experience includes nine years as an Adjunct Instructor at Belmont University, where I taught Ballet for Musical Theatre, Ballet I, Jazz I, Jazz II/III, and Modern I. I have also choreographed, re-staged, and coached dancers in the Belmont University Dance Company for biannual performances.
I hold a BA in Spanish from Belmont University (2012), with minors in Dance and Journalism. I am currently working toward my Balanced Body® Pilates Certification (Mat, Reformer, & Movement Principles), supervised by Dr. Mila Parish, to be completed June 2026.
